About this file
This document outlines the scope of work for a commercial item contract to provide and install a new four-foot by eight-foot down-draft table at Golden Spike National Historical Park. The down-draft table must be capable of filtering volatile organic compounds and re-circulating indoor air. It must include two explosion-proof motors that can operate on 208V power, easily replaceable paint arrestor pre-filter media under the table grating, and four 75-pound extruded activated reversible carbon after-filters. The contractor must provide electrical conduit from an existing panel approximately 160 feet away to power the table. Additional requirements include side and back walls for the table, a specified air flow and face velocity, TEFC motors, three-phase voltage compatibility, and a noise level below 79 decibels from five feet away. The contractor must provide equipment training and a full set of manuals. Pricing must include delivery FOB to Golden Spike National Historical Park in Corinne, Utah.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Golden Spike National Historical Park will award a Commercial item contract to provide and install a new 4’ X 8’ down-draft table capable of filtering volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and indoor air re-circulation. The Scope of
Work includes the terms and conditions noted within this document.

Compounds (VOC) from activities like spray painting, varnishing, coating, or working with solvents and adhesives.
Electrical circuit, sized to handle the load of the unit, shall be provided by the contractor to operate the down-draft table (approximately 160 feet from panel to table location). Contractor shall include materials, accessories, components, and appurtenances inside and outside the building to provide a system complete and ready to use.
VOC COMPLIANT DOWN-DRAFT TABLE MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS
• Two Explosion-Proof Motors, Class 1: Group C/D capable of working on 208v on separate control switches
• Paint arrestor pre-filter media under the table grating that is easily replaceable
• Four 75 lbs extruded activated reversible carbon after-filters, w/20mm filter wrap. After filters shall be located to either or both sides of the table, not behind as the unit will be up against a wall
• Electrical circuit is approximately 160 feet in length from panel to location of table (sized adequately to handle both motors). Include lockout device (can be one for both motors) near the table (location to be noted by government representative). Electrical conduit must rise up and over breakaway wall at the rear of the shop so as not to cross over the breakaway wall
• Provide unit with side & back walls
• Avg. Air Flow (CFM) 5050 @ 4″ static pressure
• Avg. Face Velocity (FPM) 330
• Motor H.P. two motors that are approximately three hp each and totally enclosed air cooled (TEFC)
• Phase (hz) three-phase
• Voltage capable of operating on 208v
• Noise level when unit is operating shall not exceed 79 decibels at five feet
Offeror must provide equipment operational training and a complete set of manuals (including parts and service).
