SITE VISIT INFORMATION

The National Park Service invites you to attend a site inspection to provide all material, labor, and supervision for the removal of the existing vertical platform lift on the exterior of the project and installation of a new vertical lift with enclosure and a protective canopy. There are modifications to the interior of the project to improve ADA access, and replace the concrete paving immediately surrounding the lift at the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park Atlanta, Georgia per the specification, drawings, and other supporting documents The Site Visit will be held at the time and place listed below:

LOCATION:

Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park 450 Auburn Avenue, NE Atlanta GA 30312 TIME: 10:00am. (EST) DATE: Tuesday 13 December 2022

The purpose of this inspection is for interested parties to ascertain the local conditions of the grounds at each location, which could materially affect conduct of operations and the cost thereof. All questions must be submitted electronically in writing to the Contracting Officer at the email address below NO LATER THAN 1:00pm (ED) on Friday 16 December 2022 (No telephonic questions will be accepted). A summary of questions and answers arising from the site inspection and/or review of the package will be provided to all prospective contractors as an amendment to the solicitation. Only those written answers provided to all offerors will be the Government's official response to questions.

Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. No oral questions will be accepted. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.

We consider attendance at this site inspection vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost-effective quote, and to understand the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this inspection may not be used as an excuse for omissions or miscalculations in technical or price proposals. It is again emphasized that it is most advantageous for each contractor to have qualified representation at the site inspection. Coordination for attending the site visit shall be made through the site visit point of contact listed below. *NO individual site inspections will be offered nor conducted. All parties who plan to attend the site visit must RSVP no later than Monday 12 December 2022 1:00pm Eastern Daylight Time.
