About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Auburn University's Facilities Division for Moving and Relocation Services. The RFP seeks to engage a moving services company to provide comprehensive moving services for university departmental locations, including moving furniture, equipment, and contents, packing services, delivering and setting up items for special events, and performing related work. The RFP is scheduled for bid opening on July 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM CST, with a potential site visit on July 14, 2025. The university proposes an initial contract term of one year with four one-year renewal options, contingent on both parties' consent.
The pricing structure is based on a minimum team size of a Team Leader/Laborer and three laborers, with pricing to remain firm for the first contract year. Subsequent annual price adjustments are limited to the lesser of 3% or the Consumer Price Index increase. The evaluation criteria prioritize pricing (50%), customer service (40%), and sustainability efforts (10%). Bidders must provide detailed documentation, including financial statements, references, customer service information, and sustainability initiatives. The contract will be awarded based on best value, considering factors such as pricing, service quality, marketing programs, issue resolution capabilities, and efforts to reduce packaging waste.
