Performance Work Statement (PWS) Naval Special Warfare Command - Group TWO
Human Performance Athletic Equipment Maintenance and Repair 1300 Helicopter Rd. BLDG 3854
Virginia Beach, VA 23459
1.0 BACKGROUND
1.1 NSWG2 requires maintenance and repairs to all NSWG2 Human Performance Equipment to ensure a functioning department.
2.0 OBJECTIVES:
2.1 To establish a one (1) Base Year with four (4) option years contract. This option year contract will provide NSWG2 fitness and performance equipment maintenance and service to keep equipment operational during this contract award period.
3.0 SCOPE
3.1 The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, parts, supervision and other items necessary to perform preventative maintenance and repairs to include inspecting and testing of the equipment listed in Attachment III – Equipment Inventory List and service according to the Original Equipment Manufacturers recommendations.
3.2 This service includes lubricating, calibrating, adjusting, internal cleaning and repairs, if required.
Includes upholstery repairs as required.
3.3 All repairs will be approved by the HPP Government Representative prior to repairs.
4.0 REQUIREMENTS
4.1 The contractor will provide maintenance and repairs in accordance with the PWS
4.2 Weight and Strength Training Equipment
4.2.1 The contractor will perform the following routine preventative maintenance:
4.2.1.1 Weight Racks
4.2.1.1.1 Check and tighten bolts on racks and attachments
4.2.1.2 Weight benches
4.2.1.2.1 Check and tighten bolts on benches
4.2.1.2.2 Inspect upholstery
4.2.1.3 Cable Machines (pneumatic and non-pneumatic)
4.2.1.3.1 Inspect cables, pulleys, cams, etc.
4.2.1.3.2 Tighten and lubricate all required parts, replace as required
4.2.1.4 Hammer Strength Equipment
4.2.1.4.1 Tighten and lubricate all required parts, replace as required
4.2.1.5 Continuous Rope Pull
4.2.1.5.1 Tighten and lubricate all required parts, replace as required
4.2.1.6 Tread wall
4.2.1.6.1 Tighten and lubricate all required parts, replace as required
4.2.1.7 Glute/Ham Benches
4.2.1.7.1 Tighten and lubricate all required parts, replace as required
4.3 Cardiovascular Equipment
4.3.1 The contractor will provide maintenance and repairs in accordance with the PWS
4.3.1.1 Treadmills
4.3.1.1.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required. Replace Woodway belt slats as needed
4.3.1.2 Spin Bikes
4.3.1.2.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required. Replace batteries, pedal straps and seat upholstery as needed
4.3.1.3 Concept2 Rowers
4.3.1.3.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required. Replace foot straps as needed.
4.3.1.4 Jacobs Ladders
4.3.1.4.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required.
4.3.1.5 Elliptical Trainers
4.3.1.5.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required. Replace batteries as needed
4.3.1.6 Assault Bikes
4.3.1.6.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required. Replace batteries, pedal straps and seat upholstery as needed
4.3.1.7 Watt Bikes
4.3.1.7.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required. Replace batteries, pedal straps and seat upholstery as needed
4.3.1.8 Expresso Bikes
4.3.1.8.1 Inspect, adjust and lubricate as required. Replace batteries, pedal straps and seat upholstery as needed.
4.3.1.8.2 Inspect software as needed.
4.4 Other preventable maintenance not identified under Attachment III – Equipment Inventory List Preventative Maintenance and Repairs
4.4.1 The Contractor shall provide technical personnel to complete routine preventative maintenance in accordance with the manufacture recommendations to all other fitness equipment.
4.4.2 All maintenance and repairs on other equipment is subject to negotiation prior to performance of the work.
4.4.3 Upon completion of preventative maintenance, Contractor shall provide a maintenance report.
4.5 If Over and Above services are approved, they will be funded and incorporated via separate mod or task order request. At any time, the equipment listed under Attachment III – Equipment Inventory List or other equipment not identified in Attachment III – Equipment Inventory List needs body repairs/services, the Contractor shall provide the following:
4.5.1 Perform mechanical repairs as needed by:
4.5.1.1 Diagnosing the item brought in for mechanical repair/service
4.5.1.2 Preparing and sending the POC listed on the task order a quote for the mechanical repair/service
4.5.1.3 Over and Above work is subject to negotiation prior to performance of the work.
4.5.1.4 In accordance with 252.217-7028, Over and Above Work you must have approval prior to performance of the work.
4.5.1.5 If Over and Above repairs are approved, they will be funded and incorporated via separate mod or task order request.
4.5.2 Body repairs shall be performed as needed by:
4.5.2.1 Inspection of body damage
4.5.2.2 Preparing and Providing cost estimate and inspection report for body repairs/services
4.5.2.3 Over and Above work is subject to negotiation prior to performance of the work.
4.5.2.4 In accordance with 252.217-7028, Over and Above Work you must have approval prior to performance of the work.
4.5.2.5 If Over and Above repairs are approved, they will be funded and incorporated via separate mod or task order request.
4.5.3 Upon Completion of Over and Above work, Contractor shall provide a maintenance report.
5.0 DELIVERABLES:
