GENERAL: CLC1 in the Lake City VA Medical Center has a need for thirty (30) patient ceiling lifts to provide safe patient handling and mobility. The use of ceiling lifts as Safe Patient Handling and Mobility equipment will allows staff to provide patient care while minimizing risks for injuries for both patient and staff.

BACKGROUND: The use of Patient Ceiling Lifts has proven to be effective in preventing and reducing injuries for patients and staff when performing safe patient handling.
