About this file
ATTACHMENT B is a product specification document for a Network PTZ Dome Security Camera system required for a South Carolina state or local security cameras and components contract opportunity. The specification details a single camera dome model, the Vicon Industries SN683D-WIR, which serves as the approved manufacturer requirement for this procurement. The document establishes comprehensive technical requirements for the network camera dome, including 3 MP resolution capability, pan/tilt drive functionality in a covert enclosure, and remote configurability from network digital video recorders and master workstations. The specification mandates 256 programmable preset positions, eight available tours with up to 64 presets each, and pan/tilt speeds of 380 degrees per second maximum in both directions with 360-degree continuous pan range and 100-degree tilt range. Additional required features include 4 alarm inputs, synchronized IR illuminators with 400-meter range, two-way audio capability, 10 simultaneous viewing/recording streams, and 16 configurable motion detection zones with privacy masking capabilities.
The specification requires all equipment to be standard manufactured components with proven performance in actual use and mandates a 3-year manufacturer warranty with toll-free 24-hour technical support availability. The camera dome must meet IP66 and IK10 ratings for outdoor durability, operate across temperatures from -30 to 65 degrees Celsius, and support open-platform H.265/H.264 or M-JPEG compression with ONVIF open architecture connectivity. Electrical specifications include 12 VDC input with uPoE capability and 28 watts power consumption, while physical dimensions are 7.9 inches in diameter and 12.5 inches in height, weighing 11.2 pounds. The approved manufacturer specification includes the wall mount model V670-HDB242 and pole/ceiling mount model V670-HDB241, with the equipment requiring FCC Class A, CE, ONVIF, and relevant IP66/IK10 certifications. A notably extended 5-year parts and labor warranty is specified, exceeding the stated 3-year minimum manufacturer warranty requirement outlined in the general products section.
