Statement of Work
GLS intends to purchase custom fabricated rubber stoplog seals. The seal elements shall be manufactured from natural rubber/polyisoprene. The compound shall have no reclaimed polymers and shall include reinforcing carbon black, zinc oxide, accelerators, antioxidants, vulcanizing agents and plasticizers. The rubber seal profile shall be properly cured into a homogeneous form and kept free from oils, grease or other agents which could deteriorate the rubber.
See table below for further detail, offers shall meet or exceed the following:
The awarded vendor must deliver materials within 8 weeks of the date of award. The vendor shall deliver all materials to GLS’s receiving location at 251 Fregoe Road in Massena, New York. GLS has limited receiving hours during non- Federal holiday weekdays and limited forklift capability to unload deliveries. Therefore, the vendor must coordinate deliveries at least two weeks prior to delivery and coordinate logistics of unloading materials if requesting GLS support to unload them.
Offerors shall submit the below items with their offer for approval:
· Certified material properties, and
· Shop drawings.
