About this file

This document outlines the salient characteristics for a ChemiDoc imaging system procurement by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 22. Key requirements for the imaging system include compatibility with the agency's existing Bio-Rad equipment, 16-bit data acquisition capabilities, a CCD with enhanced sensitivity matching X-ray film, over 4 orders of linear dynamic range, a mechanical zoom maintaining optical resolution, and sample trays for blot, UV, stain, trans-white, and blue applications. The system must provide various illumination sources including UV, white light, blue, green, red, far red, and near infrared as well as chemiluminescent, multiplex imaging, and software compatible with Mac or PC in common file formats. The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number 36C26223Q1366 for a ChemiDoc imaging system by the listed agency.
