About this file

This is a certification document issued by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) dated September 9, 2020, establishing conflict-of-interest requirements for contractors and consultants bidding on SCDOT projects. The document requires authorized representatives of bidding entities to certify compliance with Section 57-1-350(G) of the South Carolina Code of Laws regarding SCDOT Commissioner interests. The certification mandates that no SCDOT Commission member may hold a direct or indirect interest in any proposal, bid, contract, franchise, privilege, or benefit awarded by the Department related to the project during their term of appointment and for one year following termination. The agreement applies to all consultants, subconsultants, contractors, vendors, suppliers, employees, and agents of the contractor or consultant submitting the bid.

This certification serves as a condition precedent to contract execution and represents an ongoing obligation extending through the end of the contract period. The document requires a signature, printed name, date, and title from an authorized representative of the contracting entity. The certification is tied to a Security Awareness KnowBe4 contract opportunity in South Carolina, though the specific pricing, term length, renewal options, and other substantive contract terms are not detailed in this attachment.
