STATEMENT OF WORK

FOR

PROVIDE OPEN FRAME LAB FURNITURE

AT

AIR FORCE RESEARCH LABORATORY

INNOVARE

592 HANGAR ROAD

ROME, NY

3 March 2021

1.01 SCOPE

A. The scope of this effort consists of furnishing all design services, delivery and labor, equipment, devices, and materials, for new components and parts and to perform all work required to PROVIDE OPEN FRAME LAB FURNITURE, located at Innovare, County Building 100. This procurement will consist of receiving, delivering, installation and site removal of all packaging.

1.02 PRINCIPAL FEATURES

A. The work to be performed involves the following principal features:

1. Develop estimates with part numbers and descriptions for open frame lab furniture with the following specifications (Basis of design: Mayline/Safco Techworks):

- 1-1/8” ESD thick tops

- Bench support weight of at least 1000 lbs

- 14-gauge (or better) steel legs with levelers

- Frame mounted power on all straight frames, 1 per corner (20 AMP, 15’ power cord) *see power bar location plan

- Adjustable height legs (pneumatic or electric NOT required)

- ESD equipment shelves on all frames, including corners.

- Task lights (LED) to be installed under all straight lengths of shelf (do not include on corners)

- Grounding bars

- Box/File mobile pedestal (see drawing for locations)

- 30”d work surfaces with PVC edge (or equal), all surfaces to include wire grommets

- Frame mounted fabric panels to be installed where noted.

1.02 (A)(1)

- Corner work surfaces can be curved or angled at user’s side.

2. Finishes to be selected after award – please include all finish options with solicitation.

3. Provide all furniture specifications, including electrical information for all furniture specified.

4. After AFRL/RIOC approval, order and deliver all furniture and materials to work area site.

5. Install all furniture, including all accessories. Remove all packing material and boxes from the work site.

6. The work site is located in Rome, NY. Installation will take place on 1st floor of building. There is no loading dock available. Large overhead doors are available with immediate access to installation area.
