90th Security Forces Group at F. E. Warren AFB requires the purchase of SmarTrack RFID Asset Tracker.
SmarTrack RFID Asset Tracker will provide an improved, more efficient accountability method for weapon systems by using RFID capabilities.
SMARTRACK Digital Asset Tracker RFID System will provide top of the line equipment tracking capabilities that will be further implemented in SF's largest armory housing over 2,500 weapon systems. Additionally, the same system was purchased and is currently being utilized at GCTS (Camp Guernsey) for 90 SFG armory operations. The SmarTrack system is the only system that would provide standardization across the entire SFG and will ensure cohesive operations between the different armories. This RFID system also will satisfy the AFGSC Commander's requirement for an armory equipment tracking system. The SmarTrack RFID system includes warranties up to five years, additional RFID tags to replace those damaged or lost, and the cost of installation/data migration for the new system.
Market Research was conducted in an effort to obtain competition for this requirement IAW FAR Part 10.
This requirement will be solicited through Contract Opportunities in beta.SAM.gov and will be set-aside for small businesses.
