Attachment 2: Statement of Work for Tool Boxes, Work Benches and Workstations
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
1.1. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and tools necessary to deliver and install support section tool boxes, storage cabinets and work benches for up to five work centers:
Armament Back Shop; Conventional Munitions Maintenance; Munitions Support and Equipment Maintenance; Precision Guided Maintenance; and Munitions Inspection (included as an option).
1.2. Prior to any work initiation, the contractor must provide the names of all individuals expected to be on site for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. Those names will be vetted through security controls as the Munitions Storage Area is controlled. This will be in addition to processing via Security Forces.
2. WORKING HOURS AND SCHEDULING
2.1. Work shall be performed during normal duty hours: 0730-1630 M-F.
2.2. The contractor will be required to coordinate work scheduling with the primary facility manager, Mr Strother Brown (919) 722-4256. If Mr. Brown is unavailable and/or on leave, the contractor will coordinate any requests outside of an agreed upon schedule with Munitions Control at (919) 722-7070.
3. SAFETY:
3.1. Due to lightning, weather, incidents, or as directed, contractors may be required to evacuate the area on a moment’s notice, therefore upon arrival to a worksite, a safety briefing will be provided by section personnel that will include evacuation instructions.
3.2. Personal phones are allowed within the Munitions Storage area, however use will be limited to the office areas only. At no point will any contractor walk into a maintenance bay without an assigned escort.
3.3. OSHA safety standards, to include PPE, shall be complied with while performing duties within the storage area.
3.4. All tools and materials will be cleaned up and stored safely at the end of the work day. If the tool room is occupied by Munitions personnel during installation (due to space limitations) the requirement to pick up materials and store tools shall be extended to lunch periods.
4. INSPECTION, ACCEPTANCE AND WARRANTY
4.1. Upon completion in each work center, the contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all packaging and waste originated from the services provided.
4.2. Contractor shall notify the Facility Manager of completion and provide an itemized work completion document/project sign-off/punch list for signature. The Facility Manager will inspect the work for completion and quality prior to the job being accepted.
