IT Node 2121 Transformer

Salient Characteristics:

ꞏ Pad-Mounted type

ꞏ Transformer mounting pads shall contain hand-holes underneath the pad openings

ꞏ 3-Phase delta-wye

ꞏ Power: 150 kVA

ꞏ High Voltage: 12470 Δ, 95 kV BIL.

Used on 12470 Y 7200 System with 10% neutral on transformer present.

ꞏ Low Voltage: 208 Y/120, 30 kV BIL

-Impedance: Minimum 5%

ꞏ Taps: Provide 5-Position oil immersed primary tap changer (+5.0%, +2.5%, 0%, -2.5%, -5.0%).

ꞏ HV Bushings: (6) 15kV 200A Wells & Inserts (dead front loop feed)

ꞏ LV Bushings: (4) 4-Hole Spades

ꞏ Fluid: FR3 or other environmentally friendly oil

ꞏ Frequency: 60 Hz

ꞏ Temperature Rise: 45°C average ambient temperature with 50°C winding rise instead of the normal ratings of 30°C ambient with 65°C rise, maintaining the average hot spot temperature rating of 95°C.

Must be suitable for operating at 43°C for 12 hours per day with included ambient peaks up to 117°F for 4 hours.

ꞏ Cooling Class: KNAN

ꞏ Windings: Copper/Copper

ꞏ Fusing: Fuses to be bayonet type oil immersed removable in primary compartment having cups below them in series with in-tank current limiters. No bolt- on fuses are allowed because they are non-dead-front connections.

ꞏ Pressure Relief Valve

ꞏ Switch: Transformer shall be loop feed, with three (3) 2-position on-off 3phase oil immersed switches (one switch each for A, B, T). Use of four, five or six position switch is not permitted.

ꞏ Tank Material: Mild Steel

ꞏ Arresters:

-Provide 3-nominal 8KV (7.65KV actual) or nominal 9KV (8.4KV actual) MOV in 15KV elbows on B feed connected phase to ground on all transformers that are last on a lateral circuit.

o Provide parking positions for Loadbreak Elbows on A and B feeds. Parking positions to be provided for A and B feeds. Note that all six cables must be able to be parked at once.

o Doors to swing out, not up. Pentabolts on doors. Doors to be padlock-able.

ꞏ Gauges & Accessories:

o Dial-Type Thermometer o Liquid Level Gauge o Pressure Vacuum Gauge o Temperature gauge o Oil filler o Oil sampler

ꞏ Additional Information:

o NEMA ground pads in primary compartment for termination of 100% incoming and out-going primary neutrals and grounds and 4/0 from ground ring.

o NEMA ground pads in secondary compartment for termination of secondary connection (4/0) from ground ring.

o Transformers shall be factory painted Hentzen 70032XXX
