Statement of Work Replace Turbopump on Orbitrap ID-X
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research (NCAUR) in Peoria, IL has a requirement to install a new turbovac (also known as a turbopump) in a Thermo-Scientific Orbitrap ID-X mass spectrometry located at 1815 North University Street, Peoria, IL.
2.0 Background: The purpose of this statement of work is to obtain a service contract for the installation of a turbovac. Service will include the acquisition of new mass spectrometry turbovac. The Government requires an on-site service repair for a failed turbovac within a Thermo-Scientific Orbitrap ID-X mass spectrometry. In order for the ID-X to function properly, a new turbovac matching the specs of the original turbovac is required.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
· Return high vacuum system of Thermo-Scientific Orbitrap ID-X to operational vacuum.
· Turbo pump must be capable of holding a strong vacuum within a Thermo-Scientific Orbitrap ID-X.
· Service engineer must be able to replace the Turbo pump.
· Delivery no later than 60 days after purchase order has been provided
4.0 Delivery: Government will be present during delivery and installation of equipment to 1815 North University Street, Peoria, Illinois.
Delivery no later than 60 days after purchase order has been provided. Delivery of the equipment will require the use of a lift gate.
5.0 Evaluation Factors: Technical acceptability and price.
