Statement of Requirements Fuel Tank and Pump Installation – CAP-USAF
1.0 PURPOSE. CAP-USAF requires a fuel tank and pump system capable of distributing 100 Low Lead (LL) Aviation Grade gasoline. The current system run and maintained by the 42 FSS is in the middle of the disposal process.
2.0 DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS. The following items are required for performance under this contract:
All items below are described in generic terms.
2.1 (1) 4,000 gal dbl wall, Underwriter Lab spec 142 tank (UL 142) w/ 4’x 6’ front porch to include :
• Tank interior to be epoxy coated and tank exterior to be Urethane coated
• (1) 24” manway
• (2) 6” emergency vents
• (1) 2” atmospheric vent
• (1) 3” remote fill w/ vapor recovery
• (1) Kreuger interstice monitor
• (1) Morrison Bros. # 918 tank gauge w/ alarm
• (1) Fillrite hand pump ( for fuel sampling )
2.2 Fuel Skid to include :
• (1) new Bennett #3711SNS-2 electronic suction pump
• (1) Facet # VF-21SB-PG filter w/ # FG-O-609-7 monitor element
• (1) Hannay # V-EPJ-26-19-21RT power rewind hose reel
• (1) 1”x 50’ aviation hose ( hose certification provided )
• (1) OPW 295 1.25” nozzle w/ 1” spout
• (1) Morrison 1.5” anti siphon valve
• (1) External key switch for electrical control
2.3 All piping to be stainless steel
3.0 DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 No special delivery requirements. All outdoor work.
3.2 Delivery will be made in front of Hangar 843.
4.0 INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS: Installation will require pouring of an approximate 300 sq/ft. concrete pad and necessary electrical work. All electrical work must be completed by a certified electrician.
5.0 TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: CAP-USAF will ensure all training is completed prior to installation.

6.0 STANDARD WARRANTY: The contractor shall provide any Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standard commercial warranty applicable to the products being purchased at no additional cost to the Government.
6.1 Prior to project acceptance, the contractor shall provide the customer with all manufacturer warranties as needed for any component incorporated into this project such as equipment manuals, literature, CDs and DVDs and other documentation on all equipment.
6.2 Prior to project acceptance, the contractor shall provide written procedures, points of contact within company, and required information for all warranty services prior to project acceptance. This information shall include written confirmation of the warranty period, phone numbers and contact information/procedures for technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and replacement of faulty equipment.
7.0 GENERAL INFORMATION: Items must be brand new. Refurbished items are not authorized.
