Attachment 1 – Specifications

• No-Till Cone Drill with variable row spacing from 7.5” to 15”

• 10 row units set up for 7.5” rows o Dual toolbar with 5 row units on the front toolbar and 5 units on the back toolbar o Option to remove the back toolbar to convert drill from 10, 7.5” rows to 5, 15” rows

• No till row units o John Deere Series 90 row units

• Belt cone set for seed sizes from pennycress to Kabuli chickpea

• Bulk seed box

• Foot pedal cone drop trigger

• Multiple cone options o 2 cones with single packet drop 2 cones (one for the front toolbar rows and one for the back toolbar rows) Staggered drop for uniform front and back toolbar planting o Single cone to plant only 5 front row units with a single packet o Double cones to plant 5 units on the left and 5 units on the right using different packets

• Fertilizer boxes o One for the front toolbar and one for the back toolbar o Drop dry fertilizer along the row but not into the furrow.

• Equipment should be delivered to: USDA-ARS, North Central Soil Conservation Research Lab, 803 Iowa Avenue, Morris, MN 56267. Delivery to be made within one (1) year (or 365) days from award.
