PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Naval Special Warfare Command Group EIGHT
Dry Deck Shelter (DDS) oxygen and nitrogen 16 Pack Cradles
1. BACKGROUND
1.1. The Dry Deck Shelter (DDS) oxygen and nitrogen systems pressures are required to be maintained at a ready state for operational purposes. These 16 pack cradles will assist in maintaining this pressure, at remote locations, without the need to continuously connect / disconnect from multiple cylinders, while also reducing the risk of system contamination.
2. OBJECTIVE
2.1. Naval Special Warfare Command intends to obtain four each easily transportable 16 pack cradles ISO DDS pressure system requirements.
3. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
3.1. Product Name: 16 Pack Movable Cradles
3.2. Description and Capabilities: The oxygen and nitrogen 16 pack movable cradles allow for a one-time connection of 16 cylinders, to one manifold, to provide one source for charging. This eliminates the need to perform multiple connections of cylinders and reduces the risk of system contamination.
3.3. Specifications/Salient Characteristics:
3.3.1. Cylinder Capacity: The rack system can hold 16 vertically oriented cylinders, allowing for efficient storage and transportation.
3.3.2. Unified Manifold System: A unique manifold system allows for a one-time connection of all 16 cylinders, providing a unified charging source and reducing multiple connection needs.
3.3.3. Minimized Contamination Risk: By eliminating multiple connections, the system also minimizes the potential risk of system contamination.
3.3.4. Cylinder Dimensions: The rack is designed to hold cylinders measuring up to 5 feet in length (with valve and cap installed) and up to 9.5 inches diameter dimensions.
3.3.5. Forkliftable Design: Incorporates forklift holes strategically positioned at the base, ensuring no damage to the cylinders while allowing for easy mobility and positioning using a forklift.
3.3.6. Rust Resistant Coating: The entire rack system is coated with a rust-resistant material, ensuring longevity and protection against environmental factors.
3.3.7. Color-Coded Racks: The product includes two gray racks for nitrogen and two green racks for oxygen, ensuring easy identification of the stored gases.
3.3.8. Flexible Harness System: The rack comes with a removable and flexible harness system. This allows for easy removal and insertion of cylinders when needed, while also ensuring their secure placement during transportation or movement.
3.3.9. Cleanliness: All manifolds, flexible hoses, piping and other associated items that come in direct contact with Nitrogen and Oxygen gasses are to be cleaned for use in an Oxygen System.
3.3.10. Safety in Transit: Cylinders are securely harnessed, reducing the risk of accidents or damage during transportation or handling.
3.4. Quantity: - Oxygen and Nitrogen 16 Pack Cradle order shall include:
