PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Naval Special Warfare Group TWO (NSWG2) SEAL TEAM TWO
SEAL TEAM TWO HIGH-BAY CAGES
1. BACKGROUND
1.1. SEAL Team TWO has a BANAIR AWC Storage System within SEAL Team TWO’s high bay. The BANAIR system within Building 3841 (B3841) is configured in the Military Cargo Rack Laydown configuration and is two (2) levels. Currently, the storage system has 12 of the 14 first level bays open within the storage system. Two bays are currently caged out. The 12 bays are utilized to store equipment and consumables during the team’s inter-deployment training cycle (IDTC). These 12 bays are open within the steel frame of the storage system and fail to properly secure/store expensive gear and equipment that is currently there. SEAL Team TWO intends to resolve this security deficiency by installing 12 galvanized chain link cages with doors, siding and roof.
2. OBJECTIVE
2.1. SEAL Team TWO requires twelve (12) storage cages in B3841 high bay. Cages shall consist of galvanized chain link cage doors with chain link siding and roofing. All cages, siding and roofing must meet required specifications outlined in paragraph 3.0 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT. Cages must be durable and secure to ensure SEAL Team TWO personnel can safely and reliably store gear, equipment and supplies within cages.
2.2. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and disposal necessary to provide and install the 12 storage cages
