Attachment 001 Specifications UAV Platform
UAV Platform
Salient Characteristics:
- A vertical takeoff/copter-based UAV platform capable of carrying a payload of ~40 pounds that is capable of integration with our current sensing system.
- Current/existing sensing system: Velodyne Puck-lite Lidar System and a Headwall Hyperspectral
Nano Camera with wavelength range of 400-100nm.
- UAV minimum flight time is 20 minutes.
- UAV shall be capable of an area survey from 1 to15 acres.
- UAV shall be capable of a launching and landing altitude range of sea level to 5000 feet.
- Flight controller for UAV platform
- A minimum of two sets of batteries
- Charger for the sets of the batteries
- Transportation protection case
- Warranty repair/preventative services for technologies and physical systems
- Sensor cleaning for various components
- UAV Platform must be Radiometric calibration check capable.
- Flight, rotary-stage, or scanning-stage check for datacube
- Gimble and damper plate that is compatible with the current hyperspectral/lidar sensors
- Software upgrade and mounting support to integrate UAV platform to existing Velodyne Puck-lite
Lidar System and a Headwall Hyperspectral Camera.
- UAV Platform must be NDAA Section 848 Compliant
