STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR PRECAST VAULT TOILET
BUILDINGS
Project Name: Sunshine/Ouray Toilet replacement
1. REPRESENTATIVES:

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES AND DELIVERABLES:
This work consists of the fabrication, delivery, off-loading, and installation of 4 double unit precast concrete toilet buildings with vaults, as well as demolition and disposal of 4 existing toilet buildings. The OPTIONAL bid item may or may not be awarded, but this consists of the fabrication, delivery, off-loading, and installation of 1 double unit precast concrete toilet building with vaults, as well as demolition and disposal of 1 existing toilet building. Toilet buildings must be fully accessible and must meet the design standard for naturally ventilated, odor free buildings.
Precast concrete buildings shall be delivered in a completed state with minimal fieldwork required to place and complete installation on the site. No painting except for touch-up may be complete at the site. No concrete work shall be allowed at the site as part of this contract, except for the installation of concrete pads around the new buildings (see drawings).
3a. OPTIONS AND EXTERIOR FINISH:
a. Roof Texture: Simulated wood shake.
b. Wall Exterior Textures: Board & bat (upper), horizontal lap siding (lower).
c. Screen Location: Facing prevailing wind.
d. Door Orientation: Right-hand entry or left-hand entry
e. Vent stack screen: Bird Screen
f. Signs: Unisex and Accessible Symbols
g. Color: Provide manufacturer’s color chart for final selection and CO approval.
h. Toilet buildings shall be delivered and installed at the following locations:
i. Sunshine Campground (two toilets)
ii. Silver Jack Picnic Ground (one toilet)
iii. Alpine/Little Cimarron Trailhead (one toilet)
iv. See drawings and specifications for locations and directions

4. DESIGN AND SPECIFICATIONS
A. Toilet buildings and vaults shall meet or exceed industry standards, IBC requirements and the drawings and specifications contained herein.
B. Toilet buildings shall meet the aesthetic requirements of the Forest Service Built Environment Image Guide (BEIG) as reflected in the example drawings. The BEIG is available electronically upon request to the CO.
C. Specifications identify minimum requirements for buildings and apply to typical site conditions. The Contractor is encouraged to submit products and options in addition to those defined in the specifications. An example includes providing corrosion resistant materials for coastal and humid regions.
D. The attached drawings show example floor plans and desirable exterior appearances that meet the minimum requirements. Drawings are representative of products supplied by CXT Incorporated and are for informational purposes only.
5. DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION
A. The Contractor shall provide all clearing and grubbing, excavating, backfilling, site grading, cleanup and other miscellaneous work required to complete the installation of the precast concrete building at the site.
B. Blasting is not required.
