About this file

This document includes personnel qualifications requirements for a federal contract opportunity with the Department of the Navy for Optoelectronics and Radiation Effects Research. The contractor must provide scientific and engineering support for advanced semiconductor materials, devices, and circuits to increase capability and reliability of military missions for both terrestrial and space applications. Key personnel requirements include a Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager with appropriate clearances, as well as Researchers with Masters and PhD degrees and specific experience in areas such as optical spectroscopy, laser spectroscopy, time-resolved pulsed techniques, photon counting, electron spin measurements, cryogenics, fiber optics, and Labview programming. A Senior Researcher is also required, with a PhD in physics, electrical engineering, chemistry or a related field and at least 10 years of experience in experimental and analytical methods for determining optical constants of thin films, theoretical and simulation work, or other special experience as determined by the Principal Investigator(s). The contract will be awarded as a single Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract by the Naval Research Laboratory.
