About this file

This is Amendment 1 to a solicitation issued by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) for on-call pipe inspection services. The solicitation, numbered 5400025167, was issued on May 5, 2023, with a submission deadline of May 18, 2023, at 2:30 PM. Questions from offerors were required to be received by May 5, 2023, at 12:00 PM. A pre-bid conference was not applicable to this procurement. Award notification is scheduled for June 2, 2023. Offerors must submit one copy of their offer online through the South Carolina procurement website and are required to sign and submit the cover page with their offer, agreeing to hold their offer open for a minimum of thirty calendar days after the opening date.

The amendment addresses questions from potential offerors regarding the scope of work. Specifically, it clarifies that older existing pipelines may be included in work orders issued under this on-call contract. However, if cleaning is required prior to inspection on these older pipes, such cleaning and sediment or debris disposal will be performed by entities other than the contractor providing inspection services. This amendment does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, funding amounts, or contract duration in the provided content.
