V. Scope of Work

A. General:

There is a need to upgrade the current surveillance system located at the Prescott Fire Center, the Bradshaw District Office and the Chino District Office and to install cameras to provide additional coverage to all exterior entrances, parking areas, lobbies and gate entrances. These cameras will be upgraded to digital, 1080P HD AVS, IR capable cameras or better, with a Network Video Recorder capabilities for a minimum of 30 days and 6 tare-bites of storage or better, and remote monitoring capabilities.

The current surveillance systems at the Prescott Fire Center and the Bradshaw & Chino District Offices will be upgraded and cameras will be installed to provide the required coverage and facial recognition. The Network Video Recording (NVR) will be upgraded to provide a minimum 30 day storage for the system and to provide remote monitoring access to select personnel.

The Contractor is responsible for accurate field measurements prior to ordering, fabrication or installation of any materials.

1. Prescott Fire Center - The existing 17 cameras currently do not provide adequate surveillance to the parking areas, the two entrance gates off the main road, the exterior entrances into the building, the front lobby, the exterior fire cache storage area or the five aircraft parking/refueling areas. A camera located inside the building is not necessary and is to be removed. The current system also does not provide a resolution at a facial recognition level. The current system does have a 30 day video storage capability and monitoring can be accessed by Fire Center employees. These cameras will be upgraded to digital, IP cameras and cameras will be installed to provide coverage to all exterior doors, the lobby, the parking areas, the exterior fire cache area and all drive thru gates.

2. Bradshaw District Office – The current system consists of three analog cameras located throughout the Bradshaw District Office. One is directed to front desk in the lobby, one on the walk through gate in the back on the north chain link fence and one on the drive through gate on the south chain link fence. The current system does not provide adequate surveillance to the parking areas, entrance gate off the Aubrey Road, the walk through gate on the north fence, the entrances to the buildings, or the lobby/front desk area. The current system also does not provide a resolution at a facial recognition level nor does it have a 30 day video storage capability and monitoring to be accessed by appropriate personnel. These cameras will be upgraded to digital, IP cameras and cameras will be installed to provide coverage to all exterior doors, the lobby/front desk area, the fleet parking areas and the north and south access gates.

3. Chino District Office - There are currently two analog cameras located throughout the Chino District Office. One is directed to the lobby in the front desk area and the other is on the east side of the building directed towards the back parking area, the gate and the fleet parking area. The current system does not provide adequate surveillance to the parking areas, entrance gate into the fleet parking, the office building adjacent the fleet parking area, all entrances to the building, or the lobby/front desk area. The current system also does not provide a resolution at a facial recognition level nor does it have a 30 day video storage capability and monitoring to be accessed by appropriate personnel. These cameras will be upgraded to digital, IP cameras and cameras will be installed to provide coverage to all exterior doors, the lobby/front desk area, the fleet parking areas and the drive thru gate.
