Pre Bid Site Visit on 9/6/17 - Feedlot Generator and VFD Answered Questions, Clarifications, & Additions
1. Contractor shall be responsible for the initial fill of diesel fuel for generator.
2. Contractor shall provide and install a pressure transducer (versus a pressure switch) to control the VFD.
3. Well shall be down a maximum of two days.
4. The existing pressure tanks, associated piping and equipment related to that system shall be removed and disposed of by the contractor.
5. It is required to install a small surge tank or as recommended by contractor's well subcontractor.
6. It is the intent for this well to be alternated manually with the other well at the feedlot with each being the lead well for periods of time. Other well is a constant speed well. Each of these wells is to continue to automatically start if the other well is not able to maintain system pressure.
7. Owner will provide guidance on existing underground utilities.
