U.S. MEAT ANIMAL RESEARCH CENTER

FERTILIZER REQUIREMENTS - March 1, 16’ thru Oct. 1, 16’

· UREA, 46-0-0. Granular, free flowing, not prilled. For use in dry land and irrigated forage production.

Quantity: 75 TON

The Contractor shall deliver Urea on an as-needed basis. The delivery will be contingent upon weather conditions. It is anticipated that delivery will be required March 2016 through May 2016. Deliveries shall be made with pneumatic truck trailers in the approximate amount of 25 tons per delivery and placed in Government storage tank at Building 98. Final quantity will be a + or – 20% of estimate

· MONOAMMONIUM PHOSPHATE (MAP). 11-52-0. To be used for fertilization of corn and alfalfa/grass acres.

Quantity: 70 TON.

The Contractor shall deliver Monoammonium Phosphate on an as needed basis. The delivery will be contingent upon weather conditions. It is anticipated that delivery will be required March 1, 2016 through April 2016. Deliveries shall be made by pneumatic truck trailers in the approximate amount of 25 tons per delivery and placed in government storage tank at building 98. Final quantity will be a + or – 20% of estimate

· UREA AMMONIUM NITRATE, 32-0-0. For fertilization of irrigated corn and irrigated pastures. UAN will be utilized on row crop acres pre-emerge and post emerge.

Quantity: 200 TON.

The Contractor shall deliver Urea Ammonium Nitrate solution to government storage facility located at building 98 (5000-gallon storage capacity) or to portable storage located near current usage areas. Deliveries shall be made on an as-needed basis; maximum size of load shall be no greater then 25-ton. Anticipated delivery will be from March 1, 2016 through September 30, 2016. Final quantity will be a + or – 20% of estimate
