Statement of Work for Providing and Installing a 2500-3000 Gallon Water Tank onto a Government Owned 2017 International 6x4 Cab and Chassis

6x4 Cab and Chassis Specs (measurements are not exact) The Water Tank will be mounted onto the frame of a 2017 International 6x4 cab-n-chassis frame.

The truck Vin # 1HTWNSUR2HH167718 Model 7500 SBA 6x4 GVWR 54,000 lbs - Front Axle 14,000 - Intermediate axle 20,000 - Rear axle 20,000 Frame is 34" wide Outside to Outside x 200" long from cab to the end.

Frame is 96" from cab to front of dual (116" from cab to center of front dual).

Frame extends 12" past the rear dual (32" from center of rear dual to the end of the frame).

Duals are 95" long end to end (54" center to center of each dual) 12" space between duals.

Duals are 96" wide outside to outside (32" from outside frame to outside of dual tire).

Water Tank Specs - Tank must include at minimum:

New Water Tank must meet Industry Standards for Over the Road Transporting.

Tank to be a minimum 2500 gallon and maximum 3,000 gallon.

Tank will be an Elliptical style tank 12' long x 64" (maximum) above the frame 3/16" A36 carbon steel construction.

Heavy duty sub-frame - W' Z-frame.

Minimum of 3 baffles - 2 later and 1longitudinal fully welded.

Anti-skid ladder installed at the rear of the tank with Anti-skid material on top of the tank.

2.5" hydrant fill spout mounted on the exterior of the rear tank and filling through the top manhole.

The fill spout will have a 2" quick coupler on the bottom for attaching a fill hose.

24" x 24" manhole (lid not included) toward the center of the tank.

On the front of the tank, there will be a 2.5" exit pipe mounted, bottom center of the front.

The exit pipe will have a 90 degree elbow mounted which is pointed towards the driver's side of the tank. The exit pipe with elbow will not exceed 6 1/2" from the front of the tank. The exit pipe will extend 42" beyond the elbow and have a 2" Banjo valve installed.

Steel rear fenders installed with Mud flaps in front and behind the rear axles DOT lighting will be mounted on the tank and wired into the trucks electrical system. 15" amber light bar mounted on top/front of water tank. All wiring will be protected in a harness or conduit.

Tank and fenders will be powder coated or primed and painted.

Interior of tank will be sand blasted to remove mill scale and coated with 2-part epoxy liner.

Mounting the tank to the Chassis:

Tank shall be mounted to the truck frame using Bolt and spring style mounting bracket.

A Rubber padded perma slat cushions between truck frame and tank sub-frame will be installed.

Tank will have a minimum of 22" between the cab and the front of the tank

Scope:

Contractor shall provide and install new water tank on the chassis and make all necessary adjustments to the truck or tank which ensures proper operation.

Contractor shall verify the lights work and the tank has no leaks.

Be responsible for installing all new materials to meet the industry standards.

Provide a one year minimum Workmanship/Tank Warranty.

Option 1:

Vender will arrange hauling the Chassis from Dubois to work plant and the Chassis and tank from plant back to Dubois.
