Questions and Answers for Janitorial Services

USDA, ARS, Southwestern Cotton Ginning Research Laboratory

Mesilla Park, New Mexico

1. Who is the incumbent?

Answer: Annette’s Janitorial Services

2. What is the annual value of the current contract?

Answer: $8,647.92

3. What is the total of all options for the current contract?

Answer: The current contract is a 12 mo with no option years. That contract ended 09/30/2012 but is being modified monthly until a new award is made.

4. Are the janitorial duties for the new solicitation the same, decreased or increased compared to the current contract?

Answer: Duties are the same.

5. Is the Site Visit mandatory?

Answer: No. Bidders are advised to visit the site and fully inform themselves as to the location of the work, verify measurements of areas to be cleaned and the conditions under which the work is to be performed prior to submitting a quotation. Failure to do so will not relieve the successful quote of their responsibility under the resulting contract.

6. Are we allowed to use first tier subcontractors?
