Written Acceptance
Any Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation will require written acceptance within 10 days of receipt by the Contractor.
Quote Submittals
(a) Quoters, who quote on sub-items 1b and 1c, may qualify their quotes to limit the total quantity of work they will accept. Quoters desiring to qualify their quote must describe their limitations with an explanation. Examples as follows:
“My quote is limited to a maximum of ____ unscheduled pack days per year for items 1b.”
"My quote is limited to a maximum of ____ extra pack animals for item 1c.”
“I cannot pack on Sundays and I cannot pack on August 13.”
“I have 5 extra pack animals except in September when I have 2 extra pack animals.”
(b) A Quality Control Plan shall be provided by the Contractor demonstrating how the Contractor will monitor and inspect the work performed in this contract.
(c) The Contractor shall prepare a Safety Plan that addresses the specific hazards of the work area, and shall including packing on trails in need of clearing and maintenance, packing sharp tools, packing around backpackers and dogs. The Contractor shall identify the specific conditions that he/she considers a hazard. The Safety Plan shall address the personal protective equipment and mitigating measures the Contractor will do to increase safety during work.
Basis of Award
Offer of award(s) will be made to the Quoter(s) whose quote(s), as determined by the Contracting
Officer, provides the best value to the Government, considering but not limited to, such factors such as price, past performance, and capability to accomplish this type of work. The Experience
Questionnaire, Quality Control Plan, Safety Plan, Capability Statement, and Proof of ORCA
Registration or a completed FAR Part 52.212-3 will be used as part of the evaluation.
A statement describing capabilities will include but does not need to be limited to:
Willingness or ability to go with slight adjustments in the packing dates.
Description of how to reliably contact you prior to the scheduled packing dates. If you rely on voicemail or email are you able to check it every day? Can you return messages to verify if you can be available when needed?
Number of stock available.
Availability to pack in September.
Interest and ability to pack more days and more animals during the performance period.
