Q & A Plot and Headrow Planter Specifications

Q. What is the justification for having a 11” large belted cone?

A. The 11-inch belted cone is for continuous feeding to the rotor distribution system. The large cone allows for long planting length with consistent feeding of seed of variable seed sizes. The large cone is used for seeding plots.

Q. Early in the specs it calls out for a 6 row distribution head then later it calls for a 7 row distribution head. So, two distribution heads?

A. Yes, for plot planting we need both a 6 distribution head and a 7 distribution head for different environments.

Q. Will you give more clarification on the Hege Style Bubble Trays.

A. The Hege Style Bubble trays: we own about $25,000 of this type of magazine/bubble tray that we would like to continue to use for efficiency. The magazines/bubble trays are used for planting single rows. (See photos below.)
