AG-0202-S-17-0002 Site Visit Q & A FAR 15.201 Concrete Sidewalk Replacement, USDA-ARS Aberdeen, ID Held July 20, 2017, 10:00 AM

Items discussed and clarified:

On the following SOW sections please note: the curb is poured as part of the sidewalk, so may need to remove and replace asphalt in order to replace sidewalk and curb:

· Section 1.2 (d) 5’ x 25’,

· Section 1.2 (g) 6.5’ x 18’,

· Section 1.2 (i) [should read]: 9’ x 10’,

· Section 1.2 (m) the triangular shaped piece approximately 450 sq. ft.

Additional items:

Section 1.2 (m) triangular shaped piece approximately 450 sq. ft. - the corner will require a drain box and drain extension to the parking lot in order to carry water away from roof drain.

Section 1.2 (j) 13.5’ x 20’ and Section 1.2 (m) triangular shaped piece approximately 450 sq. ft. will require ADA handicap approved requirements when replaced.

Section 1.3 a plastic trench drain may be used as an alternative.

ADDITION to SOW:

Section 1.2 (n) 6’ x 17’ Q&A Q. Is this procurement set aside for SDVOSB?

A. No. It is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

Q. Must the quote be submitted on an SF-18?

A. No. Contractor may submit a quote on their company letterhead.

Q. Is the quote to be submitted by individual line items?

A. No. We are looking at an overall price. We will award a firm-fixed priced contract. Please review FAR 52.236-3 Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work.
