STATEMENT OF WORK
Surge Protective Device
PURPOSE:
AJW-L Surge Protective Device (SPD) Optimization program requires the solicitation and procurement of SPD’s as stated below.
STATEMENT OF WORK:
• Provide SPD that meets the requirements detailed in the Surge Protective Device
Specifications attachment 1 (FAA-STD-019F CHG 3, Section 5.7 Surge Protective Device
(SPD) – Equipment Specification Requirements, including surge current lifetime rating shown in Table 1, via demonstrated laboratory test data).
• FAA approved equipment or equivalent
Table 1 below lists the SPD system designated by FAA as already approved. Any equivalent submittal items must fit the salient features and characteristics of the approved items below, as well as meet the SPD requirements according to attachment
1. Any substitution must be approved by the FAA Program Office.
