This is a detailed cleaning schedule for the Crane Trust Nature & Visitor Center located in Wood River, Nebraska. The contract involves 52 weekly cleanings, with an additional 8 cleanings during the Sandhill Crane migration period (mid-February through early April), totaling 11,358 square feet of cleaning. The cleaning requirements cover multiple areas including breezeway, lobby, hallways, offices, conference rooms, exhibit rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and the Fish and Wildlife Ecological Services Area, with specific instructions for each space such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning, and trash removal.
The one-year contract includes provisions for potential four additional option years, subject to fund availability. The contractor is responsible for providing their own cleaning equipment, while Crane Trust will supply cleaning products. Special considerations include extra cleanings during the crane migration season, no work on 11 federal holidays, and specific security requirements for the Fish and Wildlife area (requiring a proxy card for entry). The contractor must also follow strict guidelines about safeguarding government property, reporting utility issues, and maintaining safety by using caution signs during wet cleaning operations.
