Statement of Work

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service

Scope of Work:

The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, government-approved and “eco-friendly” verified cleaning materials, transportation, management, supervision, and other items necessary to perform commercial custodial services at Mexican Wolf Field Office located at Alpine, Arizona.

Custodial services shall be performed in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance, while implementing efficient cleaning practices. Contractor bears the responsibility to utilize products that are safe for people and the environment and that have been verified as eco-friendly by third-parties such as Green Seal, UL

EcoLogo, EPA’s Design for Environment (DfE)/Safer Choice, high post-consumer recycled content, are biodegradable, among others. This includes the use of products such as cleaning & maintenance chemicals, hand soaps and sanitizers, trash bags, janitorial paper products, etc.

Cleaning, for the purpose of this contract, means the removal of all foreign substances and/or matter from the item/area being serviced regardless of the type of service. The contractor shall be fully responsible for restoring furniture, furnishings and any equipment to their position as found when such must be removed for custodial operations.

BUILDINGS - The Mexican Wolf field office main office trailer has approximately 1,500 square feet and the Lab trailer has approximately 900 square feet of floor space. Approximately 2,700 sq.

ft. combined represents the total carpeted area. There is one indoor restroom (100 sq. ft.

respectively).

WORK ON BUILDINGS

Trailer 1 (Office) - Dusting, electronic dusting, windows (interior/exterior), vacuuming, wood polishing, trash removal, interior/exterior main office door detail, restroom (once a week)

Trailer 2 (Lab) – Sweep/Mop (once a week)

Steam cleaning for carpets as scheduled/requested by the Government, up to 4 times per year

HOURS OF CLEANING

Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 shall be cleaned once a week (day and time to be coordinated upon award).

NOTE: Cleaning shall take place during federal working hours until background checks have been cleared/approved. Once background checks have been cleared, janitorial worker(s) can complete work after federal working hours.

Recognized Holidays. No work shall be performed on Federal Holidays.

SUPPLIES, MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES

1. Furnished by the Government: Paper towels, toilet paper, plastic trash bags, and hand sanitizer for dispensers.

Contractor shall notify Government staff at least two weeks in advance of needing additional supplies.

2. Furnished by the Contractor: The Contractor shall provide all labor to adequately perform in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that provided materials are properly maintained. All other supplies needed to meet contract specifications shall be provided by the contractor. This includes, but is not limited to; a vacuum cleaner, brooms, mops, sponges, rags, buckets, soap, disinfectant, and window cleaning supplies. The Contractor shall provide the name and contact information of cleaning staff to the technical points of contact.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

The Contractor shall develop and maintain a quality program to ensure custodial services are performed in accordance with commonly accepted commercial practices and in accordance with the contract terms and conditions. The Contractor shall develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT- Contract is for the period of one (1) year, with up to four option years (subject to the availability of funds).
