a. The R12i is the long term planned replacement and supplement for the Trimble R8 units which is now eight years old and will supplement two previously purchased R12i GNSS units. The X7 Scanning Unit is the replacement and supplement for the FARO X- 330 which is now nine years old and will supplement one previously purchased X7 unit. The Trimble 450H Radio package enables our current GNSS equipment high frequency communication between GIS platforms. The Invar rods are utilized to meet precision leveling measurements for high accuracy platforms. The EDB10 data bridges enable TDC600 data collectors to connect to an EM120 radio module allowing for communication with a Trimble total station platform. The mission of all this equipment is to enable or collect high accuracy geographical positional data and high accuracy LiDAR data providing accurate geodetic data for dam safety, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, mapping and 202 projects in addition to supporting the Huntington District Geospatial Mission for the collection of high quality, accurate data. The collection of these features will feed into the Huntington District EGIS System.
4. Utilization of equipment. The equipment will be utilized for daily operations and is expected to be in the field 100% of the first year and 100% of the subsequent years of service up to ten years.
