About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for Environmental Test Chambers (2) for research/testing.
The key points are:
- The solicitation is for two environmental test chambers, with a requirement for chambers under 80" in size.
- The vendor has 18 and 27 cubic foot chambers available, but they operate at 480V, while the solicitation specifies 110-120V or 240V power.
- The vendor suggests using a buck boost transformer to convert the 240V to 480V, but indicates they cannot accept the 480V operation.
- While the 18 cubic foot chamber may suffice, it does not meet the voltage requirement outlined in the solicitation.

Ques ons and Answers
1. I don't have a 20 cu/ but we do offer a 18 and 27 cu/ . Our chambers are 75.5" and the request is for under 80". Voltage, our chambers are designed for 480 volt, the RFQ is for 110-120 or 240 volt power. The best solu on for this is a buck boost transformer to increase the power from 240 volt to 480 volt. Will this be acceptable?
While 18 3 might suffice, we cannot accept the 480V opera on.
