About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a Wire-EDM system required by the NASA Glenn Research Center. The SOW details the specific requirements for the VN400Q (LN3W) Wire-EDM system, including standard features, machine options, technical specifications, accuracy requirements, air supply and dielectric system requirements, and CNC unit details. The key requirements include a 10-year positioning accuracy guarantee, linear motor drives, glass scale feedback, automatic wire threading, and remote monitoring capability. The SOW also references a related federal contract opportunity for the VN400Q-TH, Linear Motor Driven Wire EDM, which is a sole source requirement for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center.
