About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a request for quotation from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center for a HandySCAN Black Elite 3D scanner. The RFQ requires a scanner with 0.0005" accuracy, compatible with VX Elements software for inspection purposes. The vendor confirms the Black Elite Limited model, certified to 0.0004" accuracy, would satisfy the requirements, and that an updated version of VX Elements would be needed to support the latest HandySCAN. Additional inspection or reverse engineering software is not required beyond VX Elements.
