About this file
This notice solicits capabilities for an electric loads analysis of a Gulfstream G-4 aircraft. NASA's National Space Science Center intends to issue a sole source contract to Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation to develop and deliver electric loads analysis products and drawings for a Gulfstream G-4 aircraft (Tail Number N522NA, Serial Number 1199). Interested parties may submit capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by February 19, 2024 to be evaluated for potential full and open competition of the requirement. The products required include an electric loads supplement and associated drawings to define the electrical load needed to modify the aircraft to support three new airborne synthetic aperture radars and mission support equipment. Delivery of the final products is required within 15 days of contract award.

OVERVIEW:
In order to complete the modification of NASA Gulfstream-4 aircraft (Tail Number N522NA, Serial Number 1199) to support the operation of three Airborne Synthetic Aperture radars, NASA requires an aircraft Electrical Loads Supplement to provide information required to add the electrical load required for new radars and mission support equipment.
In discussions with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (Gulfstream), these are provided only on drawings and engineering reference only that are proprietary to Gulfstream. In an initial phase, Gulfstream and NASA engineers defined a baseline set of products and drawing required to provide an initial Electronic Load Supplement.
