About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) for the Contract for Organizing Spaceflight Mission Operations and Systems (COSMOS).
The RFI seeks capability statements from interested parties, including large and small businesses, to support the COSMOS requirement. The COSMOS contract will provide technical, managerial, and administrative work to ensure the availability, integrity, reliability, and security of the FOD's Mission Systems supporting NASA's space flight programs. The anticipated contract type is a single-award, Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) with Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) and Level-of-Effort (LOE) elements. The applicable NAICS code is 541715, and a small business size standard of less than 1,000 employees applies. NASA is also seeking input on potential Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) issues, diversity and equity considerations, and performance metrics for software development and cost/schedule estimation. Responses are due by March 11, 2024.
