Attachment (1) Solicitation No.: 70Z04018Q55853B00

Amendment No.: 0001

The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to the questions that were submitted during the Questions and Answers period. The Questions and Answers are provided below:

Question 1: When the existing hoist is disassembled, can waste products such as hydraulic oil and other commodities be disposed of on site?

Answer 1: Yes, the unit has a hazmat program and is capable of, and willing to, dispose of waste that is generated on-site.

Question 2: Can the existing hoist be disassembled at the final storage location? In other words, can it be disassembled and stacked without the need to load it to a truck for transport to another on-site location or the need to move the support crane?

Answer 2: The existing hoist cannot be driven to the location that will be best to leave the disassembled structure, however the unit has the capability of moving any pieces (via forklift) that do not exceed 6,000lbs. Any pieces that exceed 6,000lbs, or cannot be moved with a fork lift, will need to be moved by the vendor (estimated 100 feet) to a final resting location on the facility.

Question 3: In order to properly size the new hoist to fit the existing piers, we need accurate information on the piers themselves. This information cannot be extrapolated from the existing unit dimensions provided in the solicitation. Is there a drawing of the existing piers available?

Answer 3: Please reference the information below in regards to additional information provided by the USCG SFO Eastern Shore:

Curb Style:

o L-Shaped Steel o Height: 16 inches o Width (of entirety of L-Shape): 2.5 inches o Fastening Type: Welded to pier

Length of and Distance Between Finger Piers o Height of Wheel Stop: 24 inches on each finder pier o Pier Length (Show to Wheel Stop if Equipped): 54 feet o Distance between finger piers:

Land side: 229.5 inches

Water side: 228 inches

Finger Pier Width o Tire Side Pier Width (1): 6 feet o Tire Side Pier Width (2): 8 feet o High Water Level: 14.5 inches o Low Water Level: 33 inches

Question 4: Paragraph 3.4 (last sentence) states “…the vendor shall provide estimated lead times for replacement parts”. Am I correct in assuming that this refers to “planned maintenance parts” as stated in the first sentence of this paragraph? In other words, filters required for periodic maintenance?

Answer 4: The USCG would like lead times for the parts that are identified in Section 3.4 of the Statement of Work
