Responses to Offerors Requests for Clarifications and Questions

Can you please provide the GPS coordinates for the site in Watsonville and the receiving site in Salinas to assist us in identifying the appropriate trees to be trimmed?

37.025583, -121.733250 for AYN RCLR and 36.620005, -121.547068 for SNS

RCLR

Does the period of performance mentioned in the above question include the timeframe to procure the County encroachment permits necessary to provide the required traffic control on Summit Rd? If so, I believe this timeframe will need to be extended from receipt of the permit instead of the NTP as stated in box 11.

The period of performance does not include time to secure encroachment permits; however, the permit will need to be secured as a submittal prior to the issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Can you provide the contact information for the landowners of the trees that need to be trimmed, or will this be provided upon award?

James Waite is the landowner and his contact info will be released to the Successful Awardee after contract award.

Will we need to haul away all of the vegetative debris (branches, logs, and chips) or can it be left on site?

The Contractor will be required to haul away all vegetative debris. However, the Government asks that the cost for this task be itemized separately.

Is the RFP for the redwood tree trimming required to be submitted via sealed envelope? Or can it be electronically submitted via email?

See instructions on page 58 of 63, in Section L of the SIR document, where it states that all Offers must be to returned via email to regina.singleton@faa.gov.
