Question and Answer Amendment A003

Solicitation Number 63095201024A Supply and Install New Annunciators

Q) We have been quoted 35-40 week delivery for all Tray Rated Fiber Optic Cable.

This does not fit within the allotted schedule of 150 days. We can do the same job cheaper and faster with Cat-5 cable. This is a shelve stocked item.

A) The Government requires fiber optic type of communication cable based on new equipment specified in the scope of work, plus the amount of fiber optic required for this project is not more than 200 ft.

Q) I did have one technical question. In the bid package you detail that you want the mechanical relays of your existing alarm system to be replaced with PLC IO cards. What is the coil voltage of the existing mechanical relays so that we can spec in the right PLC IO card?

A) The coil voltage of the existing mechanical relay is 125 V DC.
