About this file
This is a Request for Proposal Attachment B document issued by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the General Services Department - Recreation Division, seeking qualifications from Faith and Community-Based and Youth Development Organizations to provide summer camp host site locations. The City requests structured, supervised outdoor enrichment opportunities for Detroit youth during the summer months of June through August, operating five days a week for eight consecutive weeks. Respondents must submit proposals that include a firm commitment to keep their proposal valid for one hundred twenty days from the due date and thereafter until contract execution, withdrawal, or procurement termination, whichever occurs first. The RFP requires respondents to provide a project timeline with preliminary schedules showing completion dates and demonstrate their technical approach through a description of procedures to be followed in delivering the requested services.
Proposals must include confirmation that the responding organization possesses any licenses or registrations required to provide the services, a brief company description, evidence of commitment to perform work in accordance with RFP requirements, and their solution and approach to meeting the outlined Statement of Work requirements. The attachment specifies that respondents should present their technical approach in a form that best assists the City in evaluating the firm's ability to identify, evaluate, and communicate while providing the requested services. The document does not contain specific information regarding pricing terms, contract amounts, funding sources, set-asides, award dates, or renewal options in the provided attachment.
