About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for the City of Lewisville's #25-80-C Work Order Generated Concrete Repairs contract, a requirements contract for concrete repair services. The city intends to keep a primary contractor working full time throughout the contract term, with work orders continuing to be issued without significant pauses. Work order sizes will range from as small as 5x5 concrete repairs, with no set average size, and there is currently a significant backlog of work orders. The contract follows NCTCOG and City of Lewisville specification details, and concrete breaking for removal is allowed, with the contractor responsible for any damages to private or city property.
The estimated project spend is $1,433,191.45, though the budget is subject to change based on funds appropriated by the City Council each fiscal year. The contractor will be responsible for construction water usage and may be required to cover additional materials testing if initial tests reveal faulty compaction or materials failure. Bonds will be issued for the contract amount per term, with Bond Riders required for costs exceeding the estimated amount. There is no engineer's estimate for the project, and no plans have been developed. The subgrade for street paving will be a compacted flex base, with recycled flex base acceptable. Contractors can obtain previous contract pricing through open records requests.
