About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid Amendment 2 issued by the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (SCDDSN) for a 10 MM Digital LED Display Sign to be installed at Whitten Center. The solicitation requests the procurement and installation of a double-sided digital message board with a new black cabinet featuring a brick base measuring 42x96x24 inches. The scope of work includes removal and disposal of the existing white sign located next to the pole, removal of the existing footer, and installation of the new digital display system. The solicitation opened on October 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM, with the deadline for questions being October 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Award notification is scheduled for October 26, 2023. Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit to assess the existing brick work and match the new brick base appropriately, as the original brick style is no longer manufactured. Offers must be submitted online at http://www.procurement.sc.gov, and bidders must acknowledge receipt of this amendment and agree to hold their offer open for a minimum of ninety calendar days after the opening date.
Sales tax is not applicable to this procurement; pricing should include only the subtotal, delivery, and installation charges. The new cabinet must be capable of supporting the weight of the new digital board, and the existing 120-volt electrical connection will be utilized. The solicitation specifies no landscaping requirements. Prospective offerors must register for a South Carolina Vendor Number at www.procurement.sc.gov and submit a signed cover page with their offer, identifying their entity type and state of incorporation if applicable.
