RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS
11/9/18
Q1. The floor infill details do not show a deck pan underneath the infills. However in the SOW Page 6, Section4, Bullet Point B they call out Floor pan erection. Are the expectations to have floor pan decking at both locations or are to form it in place and then remove the forms afterward?
A1: Form in place and remove the forms.
Q2. If I remember correctly during the pre-bid walk through it was discussed that the contractor is responsible for supplying the Asphaltic tile material. However in the specifications it specifies that the owner is supplying the material and the contractor is responsible for the grout & Labor.
The replacement tile material is government-furnished.
Q3. If we are to provide a steel decking substrate are we going to be able to achieve a 4” minimum slab thickness while using the existing Ledger Angle? I was at the pre-bid meeting but didn’t even think about taking a measurement at this location.
Not applicable, see answer to question #1.
