FURNITURE
PITTSBURGH SAFETY & HEALTH TECHNOLOGY CENTER
STATEMENT OF WORK
Place of Performance: Pittsburgh Safety & Health Technology Center, 626 Cochrans Mill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236

New furniture is needed to update the existing furniture in offices, conference room and lab workstations that are quite old and in some cases, with inoperable drawers.
Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires a vendor who can provide furniture per the attached itemized list and diagrams for fourteen (14) offices, one (1) conference room and five (5) identical workstations for lab technicians. All products listed are Humanscale, HON and Allsteel products. Please quote on these products or equal, providing a quote per location as indicated on the list with a grand total including delivery, installation and removal of debris.
Furniture for one (1) office and the conference room is to be delivered and installed at Building 151, a two (2) story building with no elevator. Furniture for two (2) offices is to be delivered to Building 44, a one (1) story building and the remaining furniture will be delivered to Building 38, a two (2) story building with an elevator. There is no loading dock at any of the buildings.
Offeror must provide a drawing and specifications of individual offices with quote. Offeror is responsible for providing trash and recycling containers and for cleanup of all debris (packing and shipping materials) and removal of same off site. Offeror is also responsible for repairing any damage to surrounding surface which may occur during installation.
The overall color schemes of the total make-over per each room are blue tones. The quote should be for Fabric Grade III upholstery. Specific fabric patterns and colors will be selected once a vendor has been selected.
