About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation (Modification 0001) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Minneapolis VA Health Care System, through the Network Contracting Office 23 located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The solicitation number is 36C26326Q0220, originally dated January 14, 2026. The amendment was issued on January 21, 2026, and serves to answer vendor questions regarding the solicitation requirements. The bid due date remains unchanged at 12:00 PM Central Time on January 23, 2026. The contracting officer is Cameron Rick.

The amendment includes vendor questions and answers addressing a fan and motor replacement project. Key clarifications provided include: no data plate is available for the existing fan, operating temperatures will not exceed 120 degrees Fahrenheit as the fan is installed inside a climate-controlled facility, the fan will be installed indoors rather than on a rooftop, the new unit will be controlled via Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) rather than the current hard start control system, exact airstream temperatures are unknown, and the air will be drawn from the facility basement through 11 stories before reaching the fan, indicating significant elevation requirements. A photograph of the current fan has been attached as reference documentation for prospective bidders.
