DESCRIPTION

This is an amendment 0001 to solicitation 36C26324Q1194.

The purpose of this amendment is to clarify questions on the solicitation.

The solicitation response due date remains at 10/11/2024.

See attached document: RFQ 36C26324Q1194 0001.

Questions and Answers:

1. Regarding the pricing for Line Item 0010:

Hazardous Drug Wipe Sampling (36 Samples)

Can you ensure this testing requirement is accurate? On Item 10, that is for 30 samples and the additional 6 is for retesting of locations that may be needed. Of the 30 samples they are taken from 18 locations some analytes have to be tested one at a time and some locations 6 analytes may be tested based on their category. We’ve researched what can be combined to ensure that it will be 30 samples.

2. Please verify the exact number of viable Air and surface sampling needed in PECs There are 7 PECs needing 2 samples biannually, the remaining samples are for failures. and in rooms. The 5 rooms would also need 2 samples biannually. The remaining samples would be for retesting if needed.

3. Can we please get layouts or dimensions of the rooms that smoke visualization will be done in? No, I do not have the authorization to provide that information at this time. If this is vitally needed please provide justification and then I will route through the proper authorities to obtain permission to pursue.

4. Is there a significance to the reason for line item 13 & 14 Class II BSCs being separated? Item 14 are slightly larger units.

5. In regards to platinum-containing drugs, like carboplatin, cisplatin, and oxaliplatin, are there any additional platinum-containing drugs we should be aware of? No this is currently what is in our formulary.

6. I didn't see a part in the terms and conditions for biobubble HEPAS. Does the typical testing of the HEPA filters cover that? or is there additional info we should know about? Typical HEPA Filter Leak Test and Face Velocity Test at the user’s location.

7. Should the once-every-5-year HEPA replacement and recertification of those cleanrooms be added to the pricing list? HEPA replacement should occur every 5 years as per manufacturer’s recommendations and this should occur prior to the current recertification to prevent any additional recertifications.

8. is the testing of the 18 HEPA filters located in the cleanrooms? There are actually 9 locations tested biannually. or are those HEPAS needing to be tested in addition to the ones inside the cleanrooms? No

9. For the drug wipe testing, I see in the pricing list that it says 36 locations, but twice throughout the terms and conditions, it says 30. I just want to make sure if it's 30 drug wipe testing locations or 36.
