About this file

This document contains a request for quote for cable and internet services for the Central Texas VA Health Care System. The solicitation requests offers for providing cable television and internet services to several VA hospital campuses in Central Texas, including locations in Temple, Waco, Austin, Killeen, and Cedar Park, which collectively house approximately 1,244 patient beds. The services required include managed Wi-Fi coverage for the Temple annex location to match the existing services provided by Spectrum in Austin. The VA is also interested in a centrally managed content filtering firewall to protect the guest network across all locations, except Austin which already has this capability. While different platforms are currently used depending on the site size, the VA seeks consistency in channel lineups and functionality and would consider a single TV platform across sites. The period of performance is a base year only, from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. Offers must be submitted directly to the contracting officer by the deadline specified in the solicitation. The competition is unrestricted and open to certified veteran-owned small businesses.
